Nothing reaches OZJAM
No account, no sign-up, no login. The game never asks who you are, and nothing about you reaches us.
PurrBuddy for iOS
PurrBuddy is a tile puzzle you play on your own device. OZJAM collects nothing about you, and your progress stays on your iPhone or iPad — we run no server for it to go to. This page explains what the game keeps, and the two outside services it touches: the ads that keep it free, and Game Center if you choose to sign in.
No account, no sign-up, no login. The game never asks who you are, and nothing about you reaches us.
Your level, score, coins and Miyuv’s room are saved on your iPhone or iPad. Deleting the game deletes them.
PurrBuddy is free and ad-supported. Google serves the ads and processes some technical data to do it, under its own policy.
PurrBuddy: Cat Tile Match is a tile puzzle that runs entirely on your device. There is no account, no sign-up and no login, and OZJAM collects no personal data about you at all. Your progress — the level you have reached, your score, your coins and the furniture in Miyuv’s room — is written to your iPhone or iPad and stays there. Two things happen outside the game, and neither of them is ours: Google serves the ads that keep PurrBuddy free, and Apple’s Game Center holds your score and achievements if you choose to sign in. Everything below is the detail behind that paragraph.
PurrBuddy saves what you would expect a puzzle game to save, all of it in the private area iOS gives each installed app — the part only the app itself can reach:
That is the whole list. There is no name field, no profile, no e-mail address and no password, because the game never asks who you are. Nothing you do in PurrBuddy is attached to an identity, because there is no identity to attach it to.
None of it reaches us, and none of it is synced or backed up. There is no cloud save and no server behind the game: install PurrBuddy on a second device and it starts at level one; delete it from this one and everything goes with it. The one thing that does travel is your score and achievements, and only if you sign in to Game Center — the section below covers that.
The game itself plays offline. A level runs the same way in aeroplane mode; the only part that needs a connection is the advertising described below.
Nothing. There is no account to create, no server for the game to talk to and no path along which your progress could travel to us. We do not know your name, your e-mail address, your device identifier or the level you are on, and we could not look any of it up if you asked us to.
PurrBuddy has no in-app purchases either, so there is no payment step anywhere in the game and no billing information to handle. The game is free, and the ads are what pay for it.
The only way we can end up holding anything about you is if you write to us. A support e-mail brings us your address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to answer you and for nothing else — no marketing list, no profiling — and we delete the correspondence a short while after the matter is closed.
This page covers the game. The ozjam.com website is a separate matter with its own, equally short policy: see the website privacy policy.
PurrBuddy is free and has no in-app purchases. It pays for itself with advertising served by Google AdMob, and that is the one third-party service the game needs in order to work the way it does.
To serve and measure those ads, the game contacts Google. In doing so, Google may process:
For that processing Google acts under its own rules rather than ours. What it does with the data is set out in Google’s privacy policy, and how apps and sites that carry Google ads fit into that picture is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
PurrBuddy never shows a consent or cookie prompt. Ads are served non-personalised in every country: Google processes the technical data needed to serve and measure an ad, but no personalised advertising takes place.
The app does not request App Tracking Transparency and does not track users across apps or websites.
Ads in PurrBuddy are limited to a “G” content rating — general audiences — to match the 4+ age rating the game carries.
What the ads never carry is your game. Your level, your score, your coins and Miyuv’s room stay on the device and are not sent to Google or to any ad network.
PurrBuddy has one leaderboard and seven achievements, and both are entirely optional. Nothing is sent to Apple unless you press the trophy button in the menu and agree there — the game does not even attempt to sign in on launch. Signing in is Apple’s flow rather than ours, the game is fully playable without it, and nothing is locked behind it.
If you do sign in, your score and your achievement progress go to your Game Center account. That is an Apple service: what is stored there, what other players can see and how long any of it is kept are governed by Apple’s privacy policy rather than this page. OZJAM receives neither your Game Center identity nor a copy of the leaderboard.
You can sign in, sign out or change what Game Center shares at any time in iOS Settings › Game Center.
PurrBuddy carries a 4+ age rating and is a gentle game, but it is not directed at children under 13 and it is not marketed to them. Because it has no account system and sends us nothing, we knowingly collect no personal data from children, or from anyone else.
The advertising section above applies to whoever is holding the device, and the ads stay inside the “G” general-audiences rating. A parent who wants tighter control can review the advertising and tracking settings in iOS and use Screen Time to decide what gets installed.
There is nothing on our side to retain, so we publish no retention period: your progress never reached us. Three places are worth keeping apart:
PurrBuddy has no export and no cloud save, so the copy on your device is the only copy of your progress. Worth knowing before you change phones; it is the honest cost of a game that asks you for nothing.
The architecture that protects you also limits us. OZJAM cannot read, export, restore or delete your PurrBuddy progress on request, because it has never been ours to hold. If you delete the game, Miyuv’s room goes with it, and nobody — us included — can bring it back.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. If you are in Türkiye, Article 11 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data gives you a comparable set: to learn whether your data is processed, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object to an adverse result produced solely by automated analysis.
For PurrBuddy the answer is short: OZJAM holds no personal data about you to disclose, correct, port or erase. There is nothing to delete on request, because nothing ever reached us; removing the game from your device removes everything the game kept.
Where the rights do bite is elsewhere. Ad personalisation is handled in two places, neither of them ours: the consent form described in the advertising section, and the advertising settings in iOS. Game Center is Apple’s, and is managed from your Apple account. And if you have written to us, say so; we will tell you what we still hold and delete it if you want.
We answer requests as fast as we can, and requests under the Turkish data protection law within thirty days at the latest. You are also free to complain to the competent supervisory authority; in Türkiye that is the Personal Data Protection Authority.
If PurrBuddy changes in a way that affects this page — a new service, a different advertising setup, anything that starts leaving the device — we update the text and move the effective date at the top. Significant changes are also noted in the App Store release notes for the version that introduces them.
We cannot e-mail you about it, because we do not have your address. This page is the record; the date at the top tells you when the text last moved.
For any question about this policy, or about what PurrBuddy does with your data, write to support@ozjam.com. One person reads it and answers, normally within two working days, in Turkish or English.
Questions about how the game plays, bugs and anything that looks broken belong on the PurrBuddy support page, which already answers the most common ones.
This page is written to be read, not to be argued over: it is provided for information, it is not legal advice, and it has not been certified by a lawyer. The Turkish and English versions are kept in step; if they ever differ, the Turkish text prevails for users in Türkiye.
