Studio journal

We write when we ship.

This is the OZJAM journal. No publishing schedule, no growth posts, no reheated news. When a release goes out or a decision needs explaining, it gets written up here — plainly, and in full.

Two posts: Warry shipping, and the repair release that followed. The list is short because we only write when something has actually happened.

Everything published so far

One written the week Warry 1.0 reached the App Store, one for the 1.1 repair release. We are not inventing a third to pad the list.

What you’ll find

Three kinds of post, and nothing else.

The journal exists to answer the questions people actually send us. If a subject cannot be written about honestly, it does not get a post.

Release notes that name things

Every version gets a plain list: what is new, what was fixed, what is still missing. You will not find “various improvements and bug fixes” here.

The reasoning, not just the result

Why offline-first, why no account, why a single banner ad instead of a subscription. Decisions that affect you get explained, not announced.

The limits, written down

Warry has no sync, no export and no push notifications today. Those gaps get published here too, so nobody discovers them after installing.

Something you want explained?

Tell us which feature, which decision or which privacy question you would like written up. Reader questions are the shortest route to a new post.
